IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) at SkinTECHstudio is a versatile, non-invasive platform we use to correct discoloration, diffuse redness, and early signs of sun damage with minimal interruption to daily life. Unlike a single-wavelength laser, IPL emits a spectrum of filtered light that can be precisely targeted to specific chromophores - melanin and hemoglobin - while leaving surrounding tissue largely unaffected. During treatment, pulses of high-intensity light are delivered into the skin, where pigmented spots and vascular lesions selectively absorb the energy. This controlled absorption generates heat that breaks down excess pigment and coagulates superficial blood vessels. Over the following days to weeks, these fragments are gradually cleared by the body's natural processes, leading to a more even, refined complexion.
